Storytelling as a tool for investigation
As the new Editor-in-Chief, arriving from Libération where he served as Deputy Head of Investigations, Guillaume Gendron reaffirms his faith in 'narrative journalism'—the hallmark of XXI since its inception. He emphasizes a deep-rooted "belief in and love for the written word, for storytelling, for reporting, and for the elsewhere—whether near or far." He also outlines the new directions he aims to drive forward.
Our method will remain, as ever, deep-dive investigation, but with an adjusted tempo. Rather than the idea of "slow-motion", we advocate for being one step ahead. We seek to dismantle the mechanics of power, always keeping that old Anglo-Saxon adage in mind: "Show, don’t tell". All while committing ourselves to telling the stories of the brave, the bold, and the mavericks who challenge the status quo.

Historiquement revue du temps long paraissant une fois par trimestre, Revue21 se déploie désormais en priorité sur son site web Revue21.fr. Les lecteurs ont ainsi le plaisir de découvrir de nouveaux articles toutes les semaines. Ils peuvent en retrouver ensuite les grands récits, enquêtes, reportages, chroniques, portfolios et BD dans une très belle publication imprimée tous les trimestres, disponible dans le cadre de leur abonnement ou en librairie et chez les marchands de journaux.
